Um....

So you can get colorful temporary tattoos to put on your child, so if they get lost at a theme park or in a busy mall, it will be easy for them (or a good Samaritan) to find you. Isn't that sensible. Isn't that useful?

Isn't that logo a kid with a number tattooed on his arm giving a stiff-arm salute?

I think they are great for families on the go!

Is it just me or does it make it easier for the kidnappers as they now know which phone number to call to demand the ransom?

"Give us half a million or we feed your kid peanuts."

I've never heard of that. It sounds like an interesting idea, though.

I guess I am only only one whose mind immediately goes to a dark place when seeing numbers tattooed on an arm....

I didn't immediately think of the same dark place, Emily V, but we've just had the 70th anniversary of the evacuation for WWII here, with children being sent away with labels tied to them. I had a look at their safety tat site and the tattoos, even though colourful, remind me of those children. I'd rather keep a child too young to know her own number very, very close. And how temporary is temporary?

That is such a good idea and an easy one too!

I think we need some of these, "If you are reading the small print on this child's tattoo you should get yourself to the emergency room for vaccinations ASAP!"

Great for children with allergies when they won't be with their parents.

uhm...while i admit that it's cute, colorful & a good idea in some cultures and in some parts of the world...i dont think that it's ideal here in the Philippines where (sad to admit) there are "bad elements of society." I would prefer kids to just "memorize" their contact details just like in the good old days :)

I like this better than having a transmitter implanted in children, which I really considered when mine were young.

My son loved to run away from me and hide. He thought it was great fun. I put him on a child leash. People would complain to me about it. I had a story for those people that shut them up.

Now they have GPS in cell phones, emergency locaters and other techie things. Back then, it was me against the kid.

LOL this is thie wrong.. there is SOOO much more technology out there that doesnt make your kid look like a concentration camp survivor.

Those little arm bands that have radio frequency chips in them are easy to use and cheap.. you can even go as far as to get a GPS locater.. ALL sorts of things are available..

And yea... they need a new logo
