In his trophy room Dan liked to stand surrounded by the mounted heads of the women he had defeated in the ring.
Some people considered he was a pathetic gladiator, only fighting against unarmed women, while he himself had a sword. But for Dan it wasn't about the challenge.
"Tell me to go to bed without dinner now, mother," he muttered, revealing the deep seated issues that lay at the heart of his problem. "What's that mother? Of course you love me. Of course you do. Now, where did I put that oil?"
